How to upload your site to host server: Yahoo Geocities

1. Go to Yahoo GeoCities
2. On the left side under the title GeoCities FREE click the Sign Up button.
   
3. First, you have to sign up to get a Yahoo ID which will also be your site name. So, if you are not a Yahoo member this is the time to join. Click the Sign Up link.
   
4. Fill out the form and click I Agree.
   
5. Now you are a Yahoo member with a Yahoo e-mail address. Click Continue to Yahoo! GeoCities.
   
6. Choose one subject to help Yahoo match the ads to your site content and click Continue.
   
7. This is the final stage before building your own web site. You have a Yahoo! ID, Yahoo! e-mail and now a homepage URL. Click on Build your web site now! to be directed to the control panel in which you can do everything you need to your web site. Because you have already built your own web site you will need a way to upload your files (html, jpg).
   
8. You can look at your e-mail later.
9. Click File Manager on the right side of the page.
   
10. This is the File Manager where you can copy, delete and upload your files, create sub-directories, etc.
    
11. Now look in your e-mail account for a welcome e-mail from Yahoo - Keep it!
    
12. And another e-mail from Yahoo! – Keep It!
