People want to express themselves, share their knowledge, make a contribution to the community or promote their business - they want to have presence on the Net. Many of these people forego this project, thinking that a huge effort and a lot of money are involved.

This book instructs teenagers and non-professional computer users on how to build a personal Web site for FREE combining step-by-step simple instructions with practical, entertaining examples. It first shows how to build a site for a virtual boy using materials from a companion Web site. It then explains how to personalize it and finally how to place the site on the Web.

The key is simplicity and straightforwardness. The explanations are very short and concise, aimed at getting quick results.

In this 204 page full-color book, the reader is kept busy, interested and entertained by being presented with a short assignment followed by a short explanation - short assignment - short explanation, and so on. Once the users have completed all of the assignments, they will realize that they've built a full Web site for a virtual teenager which includes five pages and a built-in navigation bar (menu); all easily customizable with the user's own content: text, images, colors, etc.
